Most likely you have the Fritz Langenhan, .32 ACP pistol that was made for the German Army during the First World War. They are the most common of the Langenhan pistols.

If you plan on firing it, be sure to have a competent gunsmith inspect and test fire it. It has a strange two piece breach block, that could possibly separate when the pistol is fired. This positively would ruin your day, if you were firing it.

My German is a bit rusty, but I think it's "selbstlader" as in "self loading" - correct?

Langenhan also built a 9mm pistol plus a couple of others, mostly 6.35. You really need to post a good clear photograph. The 9mm is very valuable.
