Hi, does anyone out there know if additional H&R barrels really need to be fitted to your existing receiver? I wanted to buy one used off a friend and everything seems to fit fine but i don't wanna blow my head off. Thanks in advance.

I have heard of other guys that just bought a used barrels and used them with great success, but to be safe it would be best to have NEF fit the barres to the reciever

I would rather have a bottle in front of me ,than a frontal lobotomy!

By knowing enough to ask, I assume you know if you have excessive head space in the chamber, you could get the bolt through your eye and out th back of your head.
A head space check would be money well spent.
Without checking head space you just cannot be sure.
