Old percussion Revolver

I have a old looking pistol 45 cal. only thing on it is a shield with two swords on it. and letters capital letters EIE Italy 1279 and PNXX8 can any one help identify this pistol. Thanks flint

    Please advise (pictures, if at all possible) what this gun looks like in the way of grip style, sights, barrel length etc.

    Is the gun a percussion revolver or a cartridge revolver?

    It's an Italian reproduction but you need to provide a description or pics for more information. The "PN" means "Pulvero Negro"" which is Italian for "Black Powder".
