Numrich parts

I recently acquired three Ruger #3's. One is correct. One is missing the barrel band. One is missing the front and rear sights. Numrich has all these parts in inventory. My question is, are these parts manufactured clones, knockoffs, or the real deal? Does Ruger still offer these parts? I know that some parts are shared with other models. Help![?]

I've been buying parts from Numrich since the early 70's. In every case parts are as they are advertised! I have placed orders and had parts not be in stock and was asked if I would accept a subsitute. It was always my decision and I've never been disapointed in the service.[8D]

Most of their parts are take-offs- that is, non serviceable arms are parted out. Sometimes they have a reproduction, but they have always advertised them as repros. Have had good service from them, including returning a part.

just keep in mind, not all parts are to mfg specs all the time. many of the parts they buy wholesale are bought in whatever phase they were discontinued. i/e: if they buy some bbls that werent bored, they will bore them to finish them. if some sights were missing the last polish before they were sold off as scrap from the mfger, they will polish it. same goes with blueing.
NOT ALL THE TIME, just be ready to see differences on occasion.
ive dealt withthem for decades and they are good bunch of people. even the greek hotty with * hair in the office that brushed me off for a date. i was being nice, and she missed here chance.[:o)]

Like mentioned most of these parts are take-offs or bought from clearance sales. But I have yet to aquire a piece that was not in good to great shape. Availability varies for some firearms and parts, but everything I have order for my Savage 340E 222 and 340D 222 was new or little use original parts. I have had wonderful service from Numerichs and plan on a continued purchase base with them. They are usually very quick on shipments as well.

I'd contact Ruger, but if not available or too expensive try Numerichs.

I've ordered from Numrich several times. Always just take off parts. I've never had any problems with them and have always been happy with my orders.

Not to totally knock Brownells, but when their customer service gets and attitude adjustment, then I'll order from them again. I used to deal with them but after the way I was treated when I called them about parts for a 340D and a 340E they treated me like I was stupid and said they didn't carry any for them because they were "out dated".
