Which one to keep?

I have a problem. I have recently purchased 3 Ruger #3's. One is in .375 Winchester. That one I keep. The other 2 are a .22 Hornet and .223. Both are varmint rounds. The .223 is cheaper to shoot with a wide range of factory varmint loads available. The .22 Hornet is a pre-warning 1974 production, but factory ammo is expensive. Both are in 95%+ condition. One has to go due to a pending purchase. Which one? Opinions needed![?]

The hornet can't really compete which is too bad.

A completely personal decision. You could:

Sell the one that will bring what you need for the new purchase.

Keep the one you like the most.

Keep the one which best serves your shooting needs.

Etc.

Ammunition cost is probably not a factor in the decision, unless you shoot a lot.

If the .223 will do things that need doin that the Hornet won't, sell the Hornet. If either will do (i.e. 150 yards or so, max. and small stuff like crows and chucks) then offer them both for sale and keep the last one standing.
