Sword Bayonet

Got a wierd looking sword bayonet. Looks like a cheapo from India since it says "Made in India" on the scabbard. Is it? I have some sort of delusional thought that the sticker was an accident. What would this bayonet fit? How much is it worth? What is the point of its existence? I mean...what the hell is the damn thing?
