To the best of my knowledge, these Miroku revolvers were imported for only a short period of time during the 1960's. They were sold as inexpensive self-defense guns. Best bet for parts would probably be Gun Parts Corp, they have a extensive on-line catalog.

I wouldn't be putting a lot of money in trying to make it operable though, as they were never big buck items. Depending on the parts you need, to make it work safely? Parting it out on the auctions, might be a better idea?

Miroku is a top quality manufacturer of firearms in Japan; they make many shotguns & rifles for Browning & Winchester. However, I am not aware that they ever made handguns for sale in this country; most likely yours was imported before 1968, or was made after that for some Asian country & somehow made its way into the US.

I doubt that there are many guns like yours in the US; however, there is no collector interest in Mirokus.

Parts availability is probably 0; hopefully you will never need to worry about that.

thanks for the info. i do need a part for it. i need the hand that rotates the cylinder when cocking. it has a small peice broke off of the end of it, and it will not catch the cylinder.

I'd have a good gunsmith check it out. If it is safe to shoot, mabe he could modify some other hand to work.

Miroku made revolvers for importation to the US for a short time. Both 5 and 6 shot .38s were available. They are pretty good guns.
Here is a place that may have parts: http://www.gun-parts.com/index.html/
