I bought this gun about 10 years ago for 100.00. It's in good condition, still has 70% blue, Stock and pump have no cracks and have not been redone. What's it worth? serial # is 971xxx. BTW Modified choke. I don't know much about this stuff so I'm just trying to get an idea.

Not sure how long or if its ribbed. How do I measure it? By ribbed do you mean the long track all the way down the top of the barrel? If that's what you mean, then no. Sorry I'm such a greeny on this.
You measure the length with the bolt (action) closed... measure the distance from the bolt face to the muzzle (a cleaning rod down the bore works the best). Standard for a 12 gauge was 30-inches. With a MOD choke, it most likely is 28-inches. Yes, a rib is attached to the top of the barrel and looks like a track (with knurling on its top edge).
