Win mod 52C gunsmith help ?

My 52C is not cocking the when cycling the bolt with the safety foward or off,it will cock with the safety rear or on, but will fire when moving the safety foward or off all while never touching the trigger. Im bumfuzzled! very best

I had a remington 40X do the same thing, the trigger sear is not picking up the hammer, try putting a bit more weight to the trigger and see if that will work, if not it is a simple fix for a gunsmith.

POSSIBLY A GUMMED UP TRIGGER ASSY, THE MICO-MOTION TRIGGERS NEED TO BE CLEAN AND PROPERLY LUBED TO WORK (TOO MUCH WD-40??).

Does the 52C have an adjustable trigger? Could be set too light, sear not catching the cocking piece on the bolt.
