Old Pistol Identity?

This is one that caught my eye. Any ideas as to what it is. The bayonet is unknown as well.

US 1905? bayonet? looks like it says US for sure on the blade.

Looks like a Manhattan cartridge conversion. What markings are on the revolver?

The revolver is a Bacon second model, converted to fire cartridges. Bacon manufactured between 1858 and 1867, with the second model made in the largest numbers. More pictures would give a better idea of its condition -- looks pretty good in the one shot you provided, but close-up pictures (particularly of details like the engraving, any lettering, etc.) would tell a lot more.

The bayonet looks like it might be for a Mauser, but that's just an uneducated guess. It's similar to one I got with a Turk Mauser a few years back.

I believe it's a Krag bayo.

Bayo: 1899-1900 Krag. It's too short for the M1905 (WWI era).
