7mm Express Remington

I just picked up a Remington 700 ADL, marked 7mm Express at a local sporting goods store. It is in near perfect condition. No wear at the muzzle, no wear anywhere. The wood is the same. No marks, scratches, gouges or anything. My question is this. I paid $350 for it. Is that too much. Also, does the fact that it says 7mm Express add anything of value since there weren't so many made? Thanks

That's a nice bargain to find to get your weekend started. No, I don't think that the 7mm Rem. Express version is any more collectible than the .280 Remington. It's a darn good cartridge for hunting virtually anything in North America.

As good as the condition is that you describe it, I think you got a good deal to boot. But, no I don't think the value is going to go up on these.

Nice price, nice rifle..... but I doubt it will ever be worth more than a regular 7mm, at least not in my lifetime...

if you reload try the hornady 154 spire point for a hunting round , they shoot great and hit hard
