Remington Value

Came across this rifle a few years back but find myself looking for a change of pace. Hoping someone can give me some ideas as to what it may be worth. It's a Remington 700 Stainless in 7mm Weatherby Magnum. Believe the stock is an older Remington, ADL, but not sure. Fitted with a professionally installed muzzle brake to make the overall barrel length 26". Professional trigger job recently done, breaks clean at a very smooth 2.5 lbs. Leupold 2 piece ss base, Millet rings, and a matte finish Weaver V16 4-16x42 with duplex reticle. The pictures don't do the beautiful grain of the stock much justice, may get some better ones soon. Somewhere in the the range of 300-350 rounds fired. Any and all info/opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    I am looking for a value on a brand new, in the box, Remington VS with the composite barrel, .223. And any other info.

    Short answer to your question is my guess on value is $500 to $600; maybe a little more from someone who appreciates the muzzle brake and likes the caliber. Remington didn't make many stainless rifles in 7mm Weatherby so this one may have started out with a synthetic stock. If it shoots well though why get rid of it? Except for the price of factory ammo the 7mm Weatherby is a great round for everything from whitetail to elk. . .and more.

    That SKS sling really needs to be removed and a new one replaced.
