Opinons on new Ruger Mini-14 Target Rifle?

I've always liked Ruger Mini14's but they aren't known for very good accuracy. Has anyone got an opinion on the new Ruger mini-14 target model? And will it accept the standard Ruger magazines (as well as hi-cap mags)?

What is a fair price for a new one?

The target version is much more accurate but you have to tune the barrel to get it. Stock Mini 14 = 3 or 4 inch group at 100 yards...the target Mini 14 tuned will get you 1 1/2 inch at 100 yards. Ruger claims MOA but I haven't seen it yet. It will take any magazine that you can put into any normal Mini 14 including the high capacity. But I would stick with Ruger magazines...never had much success with other after market magazines.

What is a fair price...in the $700+ range for right now...but I would think it will come down a little.

I can not see many alternatives at this point, they are a bit too pricey for what you get, but if you are not into AR's or shooting a 308 M1a then it might be worth while.
