    Shane,
I've owned several Browning SA's over the years; Belgian and Japanese, but I've never encountered a synthenic stock.
The good news is that , now I've said that, someone is certain to come along with word of what you want. I wonder if Interarms ever offered a synthetic stock for their clone?
    I'm curious, though,
    Why?
    Good luck anyway!

    Cros,

i have an old shooter grade Browning 22 (Japanese). The wood is in bad shape, and the finish is worn in several places. There is a lot of freckling on the receiver and barrel. The bore is excellent. What i am wanting to do is make this a "project gun" for a backpacking rifle. I have a Japanese 22, but it is too nice for toting around in a ruck; it is mint. What i want to do is make a "stalker" version of the beater SA22 i have. Starting with a blasting of 120# AlOxide media, then applying Duracote (Matte Black) for the finish. I want to finish it off by dropping it into a synthetic stock. I believe it would make the perfect pack rifle.
