Glock fixed sights

Is there any way to move the fixed rear sight for windage adjustment on the fixed sight models? The sight had to be slid in the groove some way so I figured I could move it a little.

The rear sight can be drifted by using a brass punch. Just tap it over.

Ask around your local gunshops and see if someone has a sight pusher available for loan. They operate by a screw system to move the sight in a very controlled manner.

Much easier and more defined than trial and error/back and forth tapping with a punch.

I bought one from Midway that works on most any dovetail-type sight. It was reasonable in price but a bit confusing to operate at first. With a little manipulating I can move the rear sight without taking the gun apart with the exception of making double-damn sure it is unloaded.

Call your local shooting range and ask if they have a Glock sight adjustment tool for your model. The tools are made by Glock and are the best way to adjust the sights.

There are 2 sizes. One for large frames like the 21 and one for small frames like the 17. I keep one of each in my veh for range use.

Thanks for all the help guys. I used a small punch to move the rear sight to where I needed it. It worked great.
