yeah, face it, we all did it at leat once in life....you fall asleep pulling the mec handle loading and 2 boxes later you realize you were loading the wrong hull or you ran out of powder and didnt realize the crimp was sunk so dont laugh.........

i was loading old school winchester AA hulls with the world famous WAA-12 wad and the world famous 700x load for 1 1/8oz #9 skeet.
1200fps/9700lup any good shooter knows this time proven load.

anyway.........i didnt notice i slipped in some new HS gray hulls in the batch. i thought they were silver bullets. ooops!

so, what do i have? i have the old waa-12 wad with 700x stuffed in the new HS 12ga hulls. am i safe to fire? hull looks good with just minor crush factor midway down. ive had worse from just old aa hulls giving way over time and they fired fine.

i remember something about the new hulls or wads cant interchange. which way does the 'no can do' law apply?

thanks.[:I]

    Bob:
theres no problem with the load.shootable all data is transferable between the two. the new hs shells are a two piece unit. sow for that matter the new aa12 wads have a slight chamfer so they will slide into the second half of the hull. Ive found if i add just a little more pressure on the wad seating that the wads seat better in the new ones.
I now using downrange wads they work with either hull. hope this helps out e mail me if i can help futher.
