S&W 5906 mags in 915

Do these models use the same magazine? I'm not much of a S&W fan but came into a stash of 59xx series mags and leather. What better reason to buy a pistol,right? The alloy 915 will be lighter than the all stainless 5906 which is my other choice. I think the 915 is sort of an economy model and that some other models are alloy frame/stnls slide.

According to Midway they are interchangeable. I had reason to do a look up, the 59 mags also fit the Marlin Camp Gun.

Any 59-series S&W pistol's magazines will work in a 915.

Thanks for the info. The camp carbine is how I came to get the package deal. I wanted the mags and had to take the leather to get them. Got it cheap enough anyway.

I'm rather fond of my 5906 and 6904 [:)]. But I do wish the 6906 was an all steel pistol like the 5906, yes I like the heavy ones too.[^] The 5904 also has an alloy frame, a light weight blue 5906 [;)]
