yes can anybody tell me what a s&w 686 stainless steel old style in really good to better shape is worth,6" barrel,thanks for any info.

686's are all stainless, a blue gun would be a 586. $400 give or take assuming it doesn't have the stupid integral lock.

The old style guns dont have the internal locks. 400 bucks is about right.

Where you live will have a great deal to do with the market value. When I lived in Ct. it was very difficult to sell revolvers. Now in the midwest they bring a lot more. I Tulsa they will be asking 500 to 600. Getting it might be another story but the old style S&W are bringing a premium.

well he has the pistol and 6 box's of ammo,plus a nice shoulder holster for $600.00,i don't know,i think he might be a little heavy on the price.
