Beretta Bolt release difficulty

I have a Beretta 390. The bolt release button is pretty hard to push. Especially hard for my 77 year father. I have seen devices that appear to make it easier to release bolt. The one I have found from Midway is over $60.

Is the gun new? Mine was a little stiff at first but now it is smooth and easy.

Have you talked to the service group at beretta? They have been very helpful when I've called them. Over the years my wife and I have owned 2 390's and 3 391's, all only take a a pound or two to get the bolt to release. Sounds like you may have somthing binding.
