Scope Reticle turned

I bought a used slug gun that came with a Remington scope. Great price on the gun, scope was a bonus. The scope's reticle is turned so that it is half way between being a cross and an X. I, for the life of me cannot figure out how to fix it. The scope is turned properly in the rings, the reticle is turned inside the scope.

Any help?

The glass that the reticle is on has came loose and turned. The only to fix it is find out the maker and send it to them. There is someone in Florida that I hear works on most scope's.

Sounds like a fix that will cost more than the scope is worth.
