lee crimp or neck sizing

I'm going to load my own shells for my 25-06 and no one else. So then I wouldn't have to FL the brass. But for my 22-250 I have a neck sizer I use, so then the brass is all ready fire form. But would I have to neck size either one If I use a lee crimp die only after it been fire form????[?] I hope you can unstand what I;m saying about this matter. Of course this is new brass an I'm resizing for the first time. It's what I should do next that is the question??[?][:)]

The case neck needs to be resized after each time it is fired, whether it is neck sized only or FL resized.
You should check the length of the case after you size it also.
    Hope this helps,

I think you may run into trouble if you don't at least neck size after firing but count on the Lee crimper alone. Your bullets would basically be loose in the neck except for the narrow band of crimp. Not enough, IMO, unless you're firing single shot mode.
I love my Lee crimping dies, but now limit their use to the thin walled cases that sometimes buckle on me during a normal crimping operation (32-20, 38-40 and 44-40)
You may want to load 10 or 20 rounds after neck sizing only, and a comparable batch with the neck size plus Lee crimp and see if one responds better than the other for you. I no longer crimp my .222, .257, .270, .308, 7mm or '06.
    Good luck.

I would suggest not crimping your 25/06 ammo. Many bullets suitable for this caliber don't have crimp grooves anyway. You MUST resize the case neck to hold the bullet properly.
