Winchester 22 WRF cartridge

My question is.......... what is the difference between a normal 22 longrifle cartridge and a 22 WRF?

It is a dimensionally different case and 45gr bullet vs 40 gr bullet for two.

The 22 W.R.F. more closely resembles the modern 22 Magnum (WMR), with both sharing the same bullet and case diameter. The W.R.F. is .10" shorter than the 22 WMR. The 22 Long Rifle is much shorter and smaller in diameter.

As Bert said- just think of the WRF as a .22 Mag SHORT, and you will be pretty close.
