weigand 1911 mount any good

Anyone had any experience with weigand 1911 mount? Is it any good?

    Hey pal;

    I don't know about others but I have used Weigand mounts for years and had very good performance with them.
    I had one on my 70 series for my red dot when I was shooting 2600 matches. Then I bought a mod 52 smith and a mod 41 and had the gunsmith modify them for both guns.

    They worked very well for many years for me and were still on the guns when I sold them later.
