I recently bought an old JC Higgins .22 model 103-2 bolt action rifle from a neighbor lady who's husband passed away a few weeks ago. It has only one 7 round clip, and I'd like to find a couple extras and was wondering if anyone can help or refer me to someone who can ? I have asked several vendors and dealers with no luck so far . Thanks. Much appreciated ...Roofuss

The 1st thing you need to do is find which MFG made the rifle and what MFG model number is.
J.C. Higgins is a Sears storebrand for guns made by several U.S. gun MFG'ers. Who usually sold the same guns under their own brand/model number.
Go to the Numrich Arms website (egunparts.com) and click on the "cross reference" link. Find you JCH model number and learn the MFG model number. Then search for a magazine for that.
P.S. Your Rifle is a Marlin Model 80 (great gun!). And magizines should EASY to find. Bet you can find some HERE at auction. Auction # 92221628.

Thank You, Sir !! I do appreciate your help very much. The rifle itself is in very good overall condition . Many years ago I had a Remington .22 { can't remember the model } when I was a kid .It was given to me by my late father who had it when he was a young man but was somehow lost when my parents moved cross-country in the early 80's .I do own several other guns, and was referred to this forum by an old friend and thought it might be a good place to ask my questions ? When this oldie became available, I could not pass it up {$75.} and is very similar to my dads old Remington. Thanks again.....Roof
