It's Portugalse, use to be a lot of it around. Just the brass ( twice fired ), would have little value.

    Hi,

    Rufe-Snow is probably correct.

The most likely arsenal is F?brica Nacional de Muni?oes de Armas Ligeiras, Chelas and Lisbon, Portugal.

There are also two arsenals located in Mexico with an FNM headstamp, but I doubt this is what you have.

I have quite a few of the FNM rounds myself in different calibers including .303 British with non-corrosive nickel primers and they are from Portugal. Portugal has a thriving worldwide ammunition business and exports a lot ammunition into the USA.

No value to it other than the salvage value of brass.

    Bobski,

If the brass looks to be in good condition I would reload and shoot them with the price of brass these days. Most of the recent FNM stuff is non-corrosive and boxer primed.

I shoot 303 British FNM brass out of my No. 5 rifles and I plan on using the empties to reload when my supply of factory loaded ammo runs out. It looks to be of decent quality.

If everything looks good on it and you have checked the length for stretching, I'd load it up and shoot it. I have some cases that have been reloaded going on 30 times now with light loads, and even with normal loads usually can get 10-15 loadings. I wouldn't shoot a match with it, but for fun shooting, no problem.
