Who makes the TZZ headstamp brand Brass?

Is WCC brass the same as factory winchester?

Also has anyone noticed that SPeer brss has a HUGE primer flash hole and a smaller internal size near the base or web?

Thanks

TZZ is Israeli and much the same as Winchester WCC military ammo from what I read.

TZZ doesn't have the primer crimp as other mil. brass does. I have loaded many, many rounds using TZZ.

WCC Mil. brass does have the primer crimp that has to be removed to reload.

I can't say about the Speer brass.

    Thanks.

I also found a single Winchester factory brass with a HUGE (3-4x the standard size)Flash hole.

What the heck is this all about?

Special purpose for the large primer flash holes?

The larger primer holes are a development of "green" ammo. Supposedly the lead-free primers need a bigger hole to get the fire where it's going.

    Hi,

TZZ is made by Israeli Military Industries, Tel Aviv, Israel.

I have used some of this brass for years and it is good quality. I have probably reloaded some of the TZZ brass over 10 times and it is still going. TZZ 45ACP was also offered as match quality and I have some of this brass also.

    Regards,

WCC was the Western Cartridge Co. and was a division of Winchester....sort the same as Remington/Peters.

I've reloaded a bunch of WCC '69 brass in .45ACP, and it holds up very very well.

Hello W W /winchester/ WCC and Wcc match with a date example "1991" is all made by Winchester AMMO div. IMHO WCC MATCH is some of the best Brass made Federal Ball MATCH from the 1970's is some of the best match 45ACP ammo ever made Be aware that the case thickness varies between brands of military contract brass Starting from thinest to thickest are REM UMC /Remington /TZZ / Federal WW / WCC Match / Federal Match . what that means to the reloader is this all 45acp bullets are NOT the same size. most military BALL bullets are as small as .449 with most .450 and not many larger then .451 Lead bullets and many Jacketed hollow points are .452. This is where your Sizing die plays a big part small ball bullets ".450" thin Brass REM UMC REMINGTON TZZ and normal sizing dies Will let the bullet push back in the case if it hits the barrel feed ramp. [xx(] This CAN and does cause High pressure[:(][V]. The other end of the scale Large lead bullets or JHP ".452" and thick brass Federal Match plus small sizing die gives you COKE BOTTLE looking cases [:0] Make sure you have the right sizing die for your combination.for best results. DENWA....nope. ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol and simply a designator for the cartridge caliber. It doesn't appear on military brass.
