Ruger Mark I Trigger

I don't think that there are, but I know someone here will know. Do they make any drop in aftermarket trigger assemblies for the Mark I? My buddy has a Mark I and the trigger is AWFUL and he would like to upgrade the trigger. Other than buying something else, what are his options?

I bought one from www.brownells.com years ago. Being that the Mark I is a older model, long out of production. They might or might not, still have a aftermarket trigger assembly still being made, and in stock?

Should still be available. It's a steel trigger with overtravel screw. It's the first, and usually the only, modification I make to Ruger standard auto's. Makes a big difference.

What you're looking for is the Clark trigger.

I put a Clark trigger in my 512 years ago. A great improvement from the factory trigger.

Any mk 2 trigger will work also. Trigger most of the time is not the issue, plunger springs, sears, and sear springs tend to be if it's a bad trigger. Also if the disconnector has been bent it will make for a bad trigger. Contact me and I can help with most of the parts.

The original parts can be used.
I just measured my Mk 1 Target at 28 ounces.
It is the original that I altered when they came out. A trigger stop was
also installed and if I recall, some shims to take out sideplay of trigger, hammer or both.
I forget, it's been many years.
