1911 style .380?

When was the 1911 style .380 in production and where can i find one? Please help i have had extreem difficulty locating this pistol.

Star and Llama also made mini-1911 style .380s.
I bought a Colt .380 Government, factory nickle plate, white plastic grips at a local gun shop last year. The gun is all original and is in excellent condition and cost $300.00 plus tax and bs fees.
Generally speaking, most of these smaller semi-autos are going to be in good shape because they are purchased for self defense, maybe fired a few times, then get tucked away somewhere, so they don't see the kind of usage the larger guns do.
I have the smaller Colt Mustang in .380 (steel, not alloy frame) as well. Both these little Colts are very nice. I think (I believe I'm in the minority) that the .380 is a good self defense round and I keep mine loaded with Federal HydraShok cartridges.
