Browning "grades"

How do I determine the "grade" of a Browning A-5, or other Brownings for that matter? My book "Standard Catalog of firearms" shows a wide range of values, depending on the grade, but doesn't offer any information on identifying which one I have.

1, 3, 5 and 6 as far as engraving goes.

1 is basic engraving on blue frame. grade 3 tends to be a gray receiver with nicer engraving. 5 is very elaborate with gold inlays etc...

then of course you have field grade, skeet or trap grade, or pigeon, diana, midas, etc....there are a LOT OF THEM.

a picture would help the best.
