Help to ID a revolver

Hi I just aquired a revolver and have no ideal what brand it is and hope some of you gys can help. .38 snub nose, with the following markings..italy on barrel, the intials EG within a circle and a B in square. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

    The marking is more then likely "EIG" in the circle, rather then just "EG". "EIG" was the Trade Name/Trademark of a U.S. importer/distributor of firearms, (generally inexpensive utility models). They went out of business in the early 90's.

    The "B in the Square" could possibly be a Italian proof date, for 1990? There should be additional Italian proofs on the revolver.
