Kel Tec .380 Slide Stop

My P32 has a slide stop...I just cleaned my sisters .380 and noticed it does not have one....? Why not?

Keltec claimed there wasn't enough space to put a slide stop in.

For Kel-Tec to keep the external size the same and have the gun take a physically larger round, they couldn't incorporate a slide stop into the design of the P3AT.
