my first rifle was a Marlin Limited Edition 3085S and i would liek to know some info and the year it was manufactured and i cant seem to find any info or anything on it anywhere

I may be wrong, but I think your rifle was sold by Oklahoma Tire and Supply Co. I worked for them from 1970-1982 and we sold Marlin-Glenfield 30-30s. They had an emblem in the stock and came with Glenfield 4x scope. Is yours like this?

I agree with Vince. It's a Glenfield Model 30A made for OTASCO. I believe the "85" in the model number indicates the year of issue, that being 1985. You didn't say anything about condition but it would be worth about the same as any Glenfield Model 30A in similar condition.

I have '77, 78, '79, '80, & '81 in these rifles if you are interested. Mine all have same serial number.
