stock makers?

Does anyone fiddle around with actually making stocks for handuns? I am installing some very dense hard wood and will have quite a few small cut offs I would give to someone if they could pick it up or pay the shipping. The wood is refered to as Christobal mohagany and has been in storage for at least 15 years. The boards are anywhere from 3/4" to 7/8" thick. I have to predrill most every board that I nail. A pnematic gun will penetrate but the grain sends the nail on a path that is difficult to predict. I would say the wood is comparable to Cocobolo as far as hardness goes. It will sand smooth with a lot of elbow grease.

Edit: Sorry, I meant to post this in the General Discussion forum
