Sten MK3 build - Installing barrel bushings

Does anyone know how the rivets were installed? I don't see how a bucking bar could have been used inside the receiver tube.

    They are just driven into the holes and they should fit tight. The bushings are actually held in place by solder.

    Unless this is a non firing replica, what you're doing could be very illegal.

    Not doing anything illegal. I'm trying to build a dummy, but I'm starting to think it isn't worth the work!

    make sure tube is undersized ID
    make sure disconnector slot is relocated
    make sure th cocking handle slot is relocated

    otherwise you probably have a machinegun on you hands even if it isn't capable of firing a single shot
