Savage mod 10 predator

Just wondering if it`s ok to shoot mfs ammo with new savage mod 10, .223 . 22" barrel with 1:9" twist. Thanks,, Gerard

    Not quite sure what your question is? Are you asking if it is OK to shoot factory ammo for the break-in process? Are you asking about hand-loads only? What did you mean by "mfs"?

    Sorry, I can buy factory loaded .223 brand name mfs.i think it might be russian ammo, cost about 10 bucks a box. i`ll run out and grab a box so i find out exactly what it is and then see what you think.

    MFS is hungarian, brass case ammo. No experience with this caliber.
    Reloading may or may not be reduced and some of the eastern block ammo has powder that leaves a fair amount of soot. Don't have experience in this caliber.
