It's a Swede Model 96 Infantry Rifle, that has been cut down into a carbine. It was done by a U.S. surplus arms importer, ( I believe Interarms? ). During the 1950's/60's time frame.

The name "33/50" was meant to be similar to the German W W II army carbine 33/40.

Since it was cut-down/bubbaed by a U.S. Arms dealer and never actually used as a military rifle, by the Swedes or any other country. It's a phony and has no value to a military rifle collector.
