has any one seen the new .460 yet. it looks like a pretty potent cartrige. I have a friend who is coming over sometime who has a .500, he said he would let me shoot it and I was wondering what loads would be the best for low recoil manegment.

    Yes, I fondled one at the SHOT SHOW and hated to put it down.
    They just wouldn't let me take it home.
    I decided that it's one I just gotta have.

    I imagine that you could pop off about 40 rounds of .45 Colt, 6 rounds of .454 and 3 of .460, then 10 more .45 Colt, pack it away and go to the house with the feeling that you finally got the ultimate firearm.

    The guy I talked to at Cabelas said S&W is having pressure trouble with the cartridge. I can understand that. 2300 fps develops some serious pressure even in a revolver.

    Anybody else heard of this?
