I have a general idea of its value but am interested in any input on that and the general interest in these rifles. The rifle is a model 88 carbine that was manufactured in 1968. The rifle is in VG++ to E condition. Stock has no noticable finish wear ,and no dings , scratches or dents. Blueing is 98+%. .308 caliber.Any info is appreciated.Thanks.

There does seem to be quite some interest in the 88 carbines. .284cal being the most sought after then .243 and last .308.
The production numbers for the 243 & 308 are equal at about 10,660, and the 284 at about 7,010. The 243 & 308 were in production for 5 years and only 3 years for the 284.

    Hope this helps some.
