I went to the gun show today and noticed ar-15 parts cheap.I was wondering if anyone knows if there are foregrips available for the bushmaster pistol (the new models have them. I can't find them at Bushmasters web site). Also will the collapsible stocks fit my carbon 15 pistol?

I'm seriously considering buying the Carbon 15 97S Pistol and was wondering if anyone could tell me if Bushmaster worked out some past problems such as jamming, etc. and also if anyone could give me their opinion as to the overall quality.
    Thanks!

I have an early version made by Professional Ord before they were bought by Bushmaster.

I had a couple problems with mine but they were quickly addressed by P.O. when I sent it in for repairs. Someone earlier posted here that their pistol had a cracked bolt and Bushmaster could or would not fix it as they had changed the bolts to one compatable with the AR-15 bolts and would have to buy a new bolt.

Bushmaster is a pretty squared away company with respect to the quality of their products. I would think that by now they would have solved any problems they inherited from their aquisition of Prof Ord.

Mine has worked great since the initial issues it had, tight chamber and broken bolt.

I had a RRA AR Pistol. It functioned fine. I could never find a sight set up that worked for me. That gun begged to be shot from the hip, but the laser I had on it couldn't be seen at an acceptable distance outside. So I sold it. No place around to shoot AR's inside.

I bought a Bushmaster about 4 years ago and haven't experienced any problems at all. Fun pistol that that can really reach out!
