old shot gun

i have a old springfeild 410 single shot i think it is springfeild out of chico falls mass i can not read the whole name of maker and can not find a serial # but the stock comes off and i see the # 933 which may be model # could anyone give me any info thanks

    My name is Dave,and i just recieved a gift from a family member. It is an old shot gun that my grandfather used to own.The problem is i can't find any info about the gun it is an NR DAVIS & SONS 16gauge shot gun.Other info on the gun its made by DAVIS WARNER ARMS corp.NORWICH CONN.It also has the word AJAX nere the nameof the company.The model number is G1652.and thats all the info i have on the gun.If any one could help me i would appretiate it.My e-mail adress is coda611@adelphia.net.

    I have an old shotgun that says Bay State Woechester Mass. A484355. I was wondering how old it is. You can see it is really old[?]

    i have a 12 guage single shot. It was baught in 1912. It is made by leader gun co. Does anyone know anything this co. If you do please let me know.

    My reference notes that Leader was a Trade Name, used on shotguns made for the Charles Williams Co.. By Folsom Arms Co, this type of shotgun was a inexpensive utility gun. Generally these are classed as a Hardware Guns.

    It might be of interest for him to know if (in good condition) it should be safe w/modern ammo. It appears to have been made in the transissional period.
