Shipping a Pellet Pistol Question

What requirements are there for shipping a BB gun/Pellet pistol/etc? Can it go USPS or is this a Fedex/UPS only item? Are the regs the same as regular firearms? I have not shipped one yet, and wanted to get some advice before sending it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

    USPS regulations can be found in Pub 52, section 432.1.

    You also need to read ATF 5300.5, to see if it is legal in the city/county/state where you plan to ship it.

    BATF will say that it's not a firearm. Perhaps local rules may apply.
