Savage Enfield cartouches

I recently purchased this Savage Enfield and have spent most of today on the internet trying to find what these could mean. I ran searches on the forum hear as well. I found some good sites for the markings all over the rifle except the cartouches. Are these just unit markings and is there a way to figure where this rifle has been from these.
These are all on the buttstock.[/img]http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2000114374546086478[/img]
The last photo, under the U.S. Property, it is stamped with a F.T.R. 59. Couldn't find what this meant either.
Any links or info would be greatly appreciated.

The Savage mfgd. Enfield No4 MKI & No.4 MKI*'s were made from 1941-44.
FTR 59 = Factory Thorough Repair, which means your rifle underwent an arsenal reconditioning in 1959.
Yes the cartouches on the stock are unit/company/rack numbers. Sorry, can't help you with any of those.
This is a good forum for Enfield information...... http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=35ec1ff06817799e8914ad3256257ba6&f=55
