S&W Mod. 19 Questions..

Are all model 19s pinned and recessed?
My serial # is K9467xx , when was it made.

No, not all of them. These are my 3 model 19's. The 6" and 2 1/2" are P&R but the 4" is not.

Your gun was made in very early 1970. According to the S&W catalog, the first K frame serial number of 1970 was K946392.

Thanks guys....... I use a Canon S45 with 4MP. I try to take my gun pics in the shade using indirect sunlight. That seems to result in the best photos.

Maybe sometime I will invest in a 8MP camera and see what happens.

You will find most model 19-4's P&R and a few that aren't. Maybe a spare part thing?
