L A Fury pistol

Looking for any information on a 25 auto pistol by the name L A Fury. Also, looking for a source for a firing pin for the same

    I believe your pistol was made by the Reck Company in West Germany. It would date to the 60's. This was before the U.S. gun laws were changed, banning the importation of these cheep Saturday Night Special, type guns.

    As these pistols when originally imported and sold, were less the $30. They weren't made with the best of materials and workmanship. You might contact Gun Parts Corporation, they might have some replacement parts for the various Reck made handguns.


    If this was made in West Germany, it would have their various proofmarks on it. Either post some photos or give us a good description of them, for more information.

    I took another look at this pistol, and from what you have said and from what I've heard from others, It's a rather inexpensive import from the early 60's and it was subject to a recall due to the slides cracking. This pistol belongs to a friend of mine, and I told him that it would be better to leave it in the box with a broken firing pin. Thanks for the reply, yblockhead (old ford truck guy)
