Charola Y Anitua

I have a pistol called a Charola Y Anitua made in spain at around 1905 it is a 5 clement caliber .The gun is in wonderful shape I would guess around 95% It looks some what like a minature broomhandle mauser can anyone tell where to get more info and maybe a value of this gun I have pictures I can send in a email

    My reference notes that these pistols actually date to the late 1890's. They were a product of a partnership between two Spaniards. Ignacio Charola and Gregorio Anitua.

    It's estimated that perhaps as many as 5,000 of these pistols were made from the late 1890's until the early 1900's. Most are in 5mm. After 1900 some were also made in 7mm.

    As many of these pistols have Begian/Liege proofs, it's though possible that some part of the production, was also done there.

    GOOGLE, "Charola Y Anitua". Auction listings & dealer(s) sites will be among those listed. You might be able to come up with a "ballpark" value for yours that way. Don't take the asking prices as gospel though, a lot of the time they are just so much pipe dream phantasies. See if you can come up with some of the actual prices realized on the auctions, they will be the best indicator of true FMV.
