shilen barrel

Has anyone installed the shilen barrel ($249 from Florida Gunworks)for the Mini-14? How much better is it? I could purchase an Accuracy Systems' "medium" barrel in stainless for $329 but then I would need their bigger gas block for another $100. I'm just looking for maybe 2"-2.5" @100yds. Thanks.

    I only have one Shilen, and that's a .308 in a custom Sako bolt, but it's a great tube. I don't think you could go wrong. Your accuracy will depend on a number of other factors but I'm sure the barrel will more than hold up its end of the bargain.
