Marlin 336 Lever Action

I have an older Marlin Model 336 from back in the 70`s. I need a butt stock for this gun. Marlin no longer have them. Where can I find one?

There stocks are for the latter model guns. I need the earlier version. Any help greatly appreceiated..........

Look at eBay item number 290181040113. It's a new stock for $62 and it must be for the earlier model as it says it can be modified for the later model.

I would give numritch arms (gun parts corp)http://www.e-gunparts.com/ in west hurly New york a call, even if your stock is not cataloged they most likly will have you take a full picture of your rifle and mail it along with the seriel number, thier parts guys are like blood hounds and will search thier inventory for you (they have millions of parts not cataloged) this is your best bet.

I checked Midway USA and they had one in stock. But be ware I ordered one and 3 months later midway wrote me a letter saying they cannot get the stock from Boyd's stocks. So my 30-30 still sits with a duct-tape stock in the cabinet. Tinman

I found some on eBay before. I ordered the ramline mossy oak camo one for mine. The best thing I found to use in finding my stocks is just google the sucker and find the best deal out there. I usually check gunbroker auctions or eBay first though.
