When should I use the 'problem with seller' link?

Last week (7 day auction) I bid on an auction for a pistol (a model 1895 nagant pistol), a few days later the seller added a note to the descrption saying they had confused the arsenal marks and it was actually made at a different arsenal than originally though. (I already have a tula, was looking for a izhevsk.) Meaning I really don't want this pistol now. Making it worse is that I didn't notice they changed the arsenal till I received the end of auction notices and their email.
I've emailed them back explain the situation.

My question is, should I use the 'problem' links with gunbroker right away?(and where do those meassages go anyways??) or just deal with the seller and see how things go?
Other advise?

    non mortuus,

Please read the Posting Guidelines at the top of every page.

Auction disputes or problems need to be handled by the Auction side, not the forums.
