I have Classic DX and read the following in an old Gil Hebard catelog:
"competition accuracy job".
I'm wondering if there was specific work that was done, or if 629's that met the accuracy standard (1" @ 25 yards) were simply set aside and designated as DX.
Anyone?

    Robert,

The 629 Classic "DX" is basically a 629 Classic but came with 5 interchangeable front sights and 4 Patridge sights. A proof target showing a group under 1 1/2" at 50yds was also provided.
