IS THERE AN HKS SPEEDLOADER OR RANCH MOON CLIP STYLE SPEEDLOADER THAT CAN BE USED FOR THE RG 23 6 SHOT CYLINDER? I KNOW IT'S ONLY A .22 PLINKER, BUT I WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME SHOOTING THAN RELOADING. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

The gun will wear out quickly enough as it is. I had an RG 10 that almost every part failed on. First the double action, the trigger sping, cylinder pawl & finally the main spring. I could still fire it by using a thick rubber band, advancing the cylinder by hand & holding the hammer back with my thumb.

Welcome to the forum, some will take your use of all capital letters as shouting. I have never seen a moon clip for a rim fire cartridge. Most quality revolvers used to have recessed cylinders so that the base of the cartridge was flush with the finished surface of the cylinder.

You may have a good RG revolver but I had a RG revolver one time, a long time ago. It was a gift and it was a gift that kept on giving... (me headaches)! I was dumber then than I am now and couldn't believe that there could be anything wrong with it that couldn't be fixed. Finally the local gunsmith told me not to ever bring it back to his shop. It would fire most of the time but you had to be careful and make sure the cylinder lined up with the barrel because most of the time the hand would not move it into position. Finally the day came when the loose barrel just fell off. So into the lake it went. Several years later one of those ill built .410 "Snake Charmers" joined it. I most certainly hope you have better luck with yours than I did with mine.
